Registration is quick and simple. Download a copy of our client user guide, terms and conditions and declaration for health and safety/equal opportunities. Sign the terms and conditions and and declaration and return to us via post or fax. Signing these forms does not put you under any obligation to use our services.
Do I need previous experience to register for work? Will I be charged premium rates for last minute staff?
No. Medical Centre Recruitment do not charge premium rates for any of our staff. The price you see on our charges sheet will be the maximum hourly rate you will pay. Discounts may apply to some bookings, please ask for further information.
Do I need previous experience to register for work? Will I be charged if I cancel my booking?
Cancelled bookings are liable to a £10.00 charge. Should your cancellation be within 24 hours you are liable for the full cost of the shift. These charges apply to confirmed bookings only.
Do I need previous experience to register for work? Are staff paid for by the Agency or ourselves?
All of our temporary staff are issued with Contracts for Services. We pay the staff and their PAYE. You will receive a weekly invoice.
Do I need previous experience to register for work? What extras will be charged on top of the staff's hourly rate?
Our invoices are made up of the staff hourly rate, plus our commission. You will also be charged the employer's national insurance, travelling expenses as agreed and VAT for non clinical staff only. Please refer to the charges list for further information.
Do I need previous experience to register for work? How far in advance can staff be booked?
The more notice we have the better, although it is possible to request staff for the same or next day.

Loyalty discounts may be given periodically to our regular customers or those who request long term cover. All discounts will be agreed with the Agency Manager prior to commencement of services.
Do I need previous experience to register for work? What checks are carried out by the Agency?
We thoroughly check all candidates previous work history, qualifications, identities and references. Criminal Records Bureau checks are carried out for nursing staff. All staff are interviewed by appropriatey trained staff.

We will discuss with you in detail you particular requirements, so that we provide you with the best and most suitable personnel whose capabilities match your criteria. Ongoing evaluation guarantees quality assurance.
Do I need previous experience to register for work? Can I employ staff following a temporary contract?
Should you decide to emply our member of staff direct, you will be liable to an introduction fee. Alternatively, you may wish to take advantage of our introduction service from the outset. MCR will advertise and recruit on your behalf. You trial the staff for a period of 4 - 6 months, should you wish to keep the member of staff, there will be no introduction fee to be paid.
